Knitting Pattern – MYPZ Chunky top-down Cardigan Joy No.15 (ENG-NL)

You knit from top to bottom; you start with the back part to the bottom of the armhole, then you pick up stitches for the front part and knit to the bottom of the armhole, then you pick up stitches for the other front part to the bottom of the armhole. The cardigan is now worked in stockinette stitch back and forth and finished with a band in 1x1 ribbing. For the sleeves you pick up stitches and knit in the round. We explain everything step by step.
The cuffs are crocheted! (there is a diagram in the pattern)

You knit mostly with 2 strands held together of MYPZ chunky kidmohair DK. A few rows are knitted with 1 strand MYPZ Teddy.

Based on knitting in 1 color for size S/M, M/L (L/XL, XL/XXL):
• ± 900 meters (985y) DK-weight yarn (+200m (218y) L/XL and XL/XXL)
• ± 50 meter (54y) lace-weight yarn
• ± 50 meter (54y) DK Merino

• 1 ball MYPZ chunky kidmohair DK Peach (+ 1 XL/XXL)

You can easily extend this cardigan by adding extra rows (you will need more yarn). 

Note for size XL/XXL: You may have to replace color because one color has run out. There is enough yarn in this kit to replace a color.

Circular knitting needles with a cable of ±80cm:
• 9mm (UK 00 / US 13)
• 15mm (US 19)

Crochet hook 6,5mm
